  • The anxiety experienced by vendors and buyers who are forced to make important financial and lifestyle decisions within the high-pressure environment of short-term (30 to 90 day) settlements.

A longer settlement period provides time to plan for the future, and the sharing of any increase in property value during the settlement period aligns the interests of both buyers and sellers.

Guy Nelson

Guy has had a long and varied career with more than 30 years of experience in property finance, investment banking, development and investment. He spent 10 years at Macquarie Group as an Executive Director. Guy has degrees in Law and Commerce from Melbourne University and started his career as a practising lawyer. 

Anthony Stafford

Anthony has more than 30 years of experience in property research, consulting and development throughout Australia. He has a Bachelor of Town Planning and a Real Estate Licence. Anthony worked for 10 years at a major national property consultancy before establishing a project management business specialising in residential subdivision in 2005.  

How RealFuture creates  new possibilities.

Long settlement up to three years. 

Vendors can sell their home, receive deposit funds and remain in their current home for up to three years. Buyers can continue to save and plan before settlement up to three years after exchange.  

Vendors don’t need to borrow money or downsize straight away. 

With a cash deposit paid and release, vendors get access to funds with no need for a reverse mortgage. They also retain half of any increase in property value between exchange and settlement.  

Buyers can get on the property ladder sooner. 

A 5% initial deposit and another 5% deposit paid halfway through the settlement term helps buyers get a foot on the property ladder while they continue to save. They also receive half of the increase in value between exchange and settlement.
